3-Part Easter Series on Forgiveness

Wednesday Evenings

April 24, May 1 and May 8

7-8:30 pm

A hallmark of Jesus’ ministry is forgiveness. He calls followers to do likewise. Forgiveness is also an overt theme of the Eastertide lectionary. But for all its importance in Christianity, “forgiveness is the hardest work we do,” writes Anne LaMott In her 2014 book SMALL VICTORIES. “No one can prove that God does or doesn’t exist, but tough acts of forgiveness are pretty convincing for me...”

In this series, led by Pastor Andrea, we’ll look at what Jesus has to say about forgiveness, we will consider our personal experience, and also look at forgiveness on a larger scale, including the Truth and Reconciliation Commission established in South Africa in 1994.
